Using XP SP2

I am using XP SP2.
I intend to buy a scanner to convert 35mm slides.
I am considering Epson 4180 and similar.
I understand that some scanners don't work well with XP SP2

Will appreciate advice from others using SP2.
What scanner are you using?

I use the 4180 with XP Home SP2 with no issues.
