Problem with Canon 3000F CanoScan Toolbox (Email)

Hi,

just installed a new Canon 3000F scanner on a WinXP (Home) PC. Everything
works fine, except the CanoScan Toolbox dialog pops up unexpectably and
wants to scan and email, as if the Email button on the scanner was pressed -
but it wasn't! The drivers and software are current.

Does anybody know of this problem and a workaround?

Ditto, replied to this post in alt.comp.periphs.scanner (What's with the
alt.c..... scanner / s) groups anyway? Why have two?!!

Let me know if you find a fix for this canon toolbox prob.
