scanning film with epson 4870 automatically

Hello,
When I scan 36 images of negatives how can I automaticcaly select the areas
of the pictures? With other words can I scan 36 images in a batchjob or
something so I can drink some coffee and have the 36 images?

It will do up to 24 35mm negatives at a time!
