Where are HP Precisionscan Pro settings stored?

I have a migration problem, from an old PC to a new PC.

The system has an HP 5470C scanner, the HP software is HP Precisionscan Pro.

The user has a lot of custom "settings" (that's what HP calls them) for
different types of documents. Each setting contains the resolution,
dimensions, type of scan (color/grayscale), exact imagery settings
(brightness, contrast, gamma, etc.) to be used for that type of
document. Each setting has a name ("check images", for example), and
there is a save / load function in the program in the "File" menu
(settings / {save / load}).

Does anyone know where these are stored? I created one called "abcxyz",
and I cannot find out where it is stored (so that I can hopefully move
them from the old system to the new system). I did a full text search
of drive C:, and a text search of the registry for "abcxyz" and both
searches failed to find the settings.

Thanks

Well, I think I found the answer. They are in the registry at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hewlett-Packard\HP PrecisionScan Pro 3.1\Settings

I'm not clear on why a registry search didn't find them, but it appears
that this is where they are saved.
