I have come by the above HP scanner but don't know if it is worth the agro
trying to set it up.
Can anyone advise please?

Facts are:

PC to which this was attached has died, therefore cannot retrieve drivers
etc.
The device is SCSI and I think it is this card that has failed causing the
original machine to hang.
Do I have to get the self same SCSI card to get this thing up and running?
Any issues with this device on NT4?
How do I install a SCSI card?

Any help/advice gratefully received.

TIA

Probably not unless HP did anoth of their infamous 'proprietary' bits. Those
scanners are slow, thus plain old 25 pin SCSI should work.

Probably ... it's an HP. Not noted for good drivers.

Remove plate, insert card into ISA (old style) or proper slot.

If the card isn't PNP run driver install. OTW follow screen recognition to
point 'doze at driver location.
