Anyone know about Lexmark printers?

I have a Lexmark x5250 printer/scanner/copier that suddenly decided to
have a paper-feed problem.
I really need help on this one as I can't afford another printer and
I need a working printer for the
business I'm in. When paper is inserted (and I know how to insert it
correctly, as before I had no
problem in inserting paper properly), and whatever is to be printed,
scanned and printed, or copied,
the paper starts to slip down the right side of the paper-feed while
the left side doesn't, and then I
can hear the rollers sliding all around the paper but the paper does
not continue to feed through, thus
I lose any print job needed.
What is causing this to happen, what can I do to fix it, or can it be
fixed without having to pay a high "techie"
to fix it properly? On this style of printer, you cannot see the
rollers from viewing from the top of the
paper feed, nor can you see it by lifting up the printer top for the
ink-refill location for the action of the
rollers either. This is still a good printer/scanner/copier but if I
can't get the paper feed to feed
correctly, then I'm stuck with a good quality printer and no way to
print anything, which makes it bad
for me.
Please help if you can.
Thanks.

Just a guess / shot in the dark, but often paper problems are caused by
foreign material (usually scraps of paper, but sometimes paper clips,
staples and other objects) that got into the paper path somewhere.

Well, Barry, your guess was right on the nose! Congrats, you're the
winner
of The Integrity Award! Thanks, I jiggled the printer a bit and
heard a noise
not recognized, turned it upside down and low and behold, a ball point
pen
fell out! Geez! I didn't or couldn't even see that from looking
inside, topside
or anyside but turning it upside down did the trick. I printed a
document and
VOILA! Perfect.
Thanks for the good advice. The pen must've slipped in there sometime
ago and
I didn't even know it happened. I'll take your advice over "Cari's"
anyday!

Lexmark do not manufacture good quality printers. They manufacture very
cheap and cheerful printers that are disposible when something goes wrong
and they are out of guarantee.

Ok, I see your pointless point, but its already paid for, it was
printing fine for me for
what I needed, plus scanning & copying, so its pointless to argue the
point of what a
good quality printer is and its pointless to point out what I
should've bought at the
time, plus the price was good enough for me and I know the "point"
you're getting
at here: "You get what you pay for" so don't even point that one out.
The "point"
is that I needed someone's good integrity of suggesting the current
problem to fix
and all you had to offer was your opinion, which doesn't help at all.
So, your integrity
here was pointless and had nothing to do with helping me out.
