I've just recently found thousands of old family 35mm slides that date
back to the early 60s. I'd like to get these into my computer then burn them
onto CDs and maybe print out a few to frame.
I have no idea where to begin with this, except that I do know I need a
scanner of some sort. My HP ScanJet 3300 doesn't do slides. Is there another
piece of hardware/software that will scan these slides? I prefer HP scanners
and printers, but if there is something better and easier...!?

The later Epson 3200 and up Photo Scanners do an excellent job.

Having sweated through two HP's, I'll never buy another! They're like MAC's,
you have to make all the settings over and over again ... one image per
scaner software load!
