HP3300C

Hi All
I have a hp3300c scanner which i have had running previously with windows ME
I then upgraded to windows XP Professional and downloaded the appropriate
drivers and the scanner still worked.
My problem is now that i have installed photoshop 7 the scanner keeps
failing. I have completely uninstalled the scanner drives and reinstalled
from scratch which gets in operating again, but as soon as i turn off the
computer the scanner fails again.
Can anyone help or offer advice for this problem.

Do what I did with my 3300c after going to XP - use it as a door stop. Sorry that's not very
helpful but me and then my brother in law could not keep that thing working under XP.
