Smart panel problems

I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX500 all in one printer. I iinstalled it
on another computer. now I cannot get toe Smart panel to operate at
all. On every Icon I get the message ("ïnstall the supported TWAIN
driver"). I installed the software as instructed and at the end it
says that all is installed ok, but nothing in the smart driver works.
Can anyone help me with thei?

I am guessing that you plugged in the RX500 to the USB port before you
installed the software.

If that is the case, Windows installed the WIA driver. Smart Panel can not
use the WIA driver.

First unplug the RX500 from USB.
Go into the Device Manager and remove the Scanner Driver.
Uninstall the Epson Software.
Reboot the computer.

Then install the Epson Software, Plug in the USB when Epson Software Asks.
